There has also been a public petition calling for an investigation, but the police are considering designating a ‘responsible investigative agency’ in charge of the case as it is a nationwide case.

A financial fraud case related to the ‘fake derivatives exchange’ reported by YTN consecutively since the 2nd.
After the report, reports of damage were received one after another to the police.
Hundreds of complaints were received in Busan, Daegu, Gwangju, Daejeon, and Cheongju, including the metropolitan area.
Some victims reported belatedly after YTN reported that they were suffering without knowing their family.

A famous financial investment company whose name was stolen has sued the fraudulent organization with the police on allegations of trademark theft.
The problem is that even at this moment with hundreds of victims, the same crime that only changed the name of the exchange is still ongoing.
It is the same method from approaching the recommendation of stocks to inducing subscription to a specific ‘derivatives exchange’.
Victims sent a sincere letter urging the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission to investigate, saying that the police must act quickly to prevent further victims of crime, and also filed a petition with the Blue House one after another.

The police are considering designating a ‘focused investigation agency’ that can jointly investigate cases by designating a specific provincial and provincial police agency as the number of damage reports is expanding nationwide.
