Manchester City fans’ decision to invade the pitch following their victory over Swansea on Sunday threw Sky Sports’ post-match plans up in the air.Sky Sports were set to present their coverage on the Etihad turf after the final whistle but the pitch invasion meant Thierry Henry, Craig Bellamy and David Jones were forced into the tunnel.City fans were in a party mood on Sunday in Manchester as they celebrated their side’s Premier League title win, which was clinched last weekend when their rivals United were stunned at home by West Brom.And after seeing their side ease to a comfortable 5-0 win over the Swans on Sunday, they decided to run onto the pitch at the Etihad to meet and congratulate their star players.The likes of Vincent Kompany and fan favourite Benjamin Mendy were seen getting mobbed by the club’s jubilant fans, with the latter posing for photos with the pitch invaders.It was an afternoon to remember for everyone at City after thrashing Swansea 5-0 in the Premier League.David Silva, Raheem Sterling, Kevin De Bruyne, Bernardo Silva and Gabriel Jesus were all on the scoresheet as Pep Guardiola’s men claimed a club record 29th top-flight win of the season.Furthermore, they could yet finish with the most points, most wins and most goals of any champions in Premier League history. And they will be confident of going into the record books once again, with their final four games against West Ham, Huddersfield, Brighton and Southampton.
